Recently, the Empire of Verdania declared their support for the Republican Insurgent government in Natowa. They expressed concern at some statements made by the insurgent government, however they claimed that Central Mercia's statements were worse (alongside that of Dirtville's.) Central Mercia has expressed only what could be called 'pure rage' at this, with a speech made by a government member speaking of the Natowan insurgent government as a group built on disinformation, accusing it of spreading propaganda to somehow convince other micronations that the Monarchists are the insurgents.
The government has gone even further, by declaring a state of war is now in effect between the 'Commonwealth of Natowa' (Republican Insurgent government) and Central Mercia. The government has spoken that the war will not be physical due to geographical boundaries, however all Natowan, New Ridgean and Verdanian citizens are banned from entering Central Mercia. The government has blasted the Republican government of Natowa, going as far to call them an 'Axis of pure disinformation'.
